Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a maintenance-oriented technician to perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of plant machinery and equipment. The role includes monitoring boiler and wastewater treatment operations and ensuring a clean, safe working environment through 5S practices.

The candidate should have at least SPM or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with 2 years of relevant experience and be willing to work overtime and shifts as required.

Qualifications

• Maintenance works including trouble-shooting, repairing, preventive maintenance test run and servicing of plant machineries, equipment and facilities.
• Monitor the operations of boiler and waste water treatment plant.
• Carry out machine 5S activities and ensure machine and working area in safe and good condition.
• Assist in any other duties assigned by superior.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and service plant machinery and equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair malfunctions to minimize downtime.
• Conduct preventive maintenance tests and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Support boiler and wastewater treatment operations as needed.
