Job summary

OCBC in Malaysia invites a results-driven Sales Manager – Unsecured Lending Sales to lead multiple channels, drive Credit Card and Portfolio Sales, and deliver business growth through proactive sales management and execution excellence.

You will proactively manage performance, conduct regular reviews with channel partners, identify gaps, and implement recovery plans while fostering accountability and a high-performance culture in a fast-paced banking environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Business, Finance, Marketing, or related field.
• 5–8 years of sales experience in banking/financial services.
• 2–3 years in a leadership or sales management role.
• Proven experience managing unsecured lending products, including Credit Cards, Personal Loans, Balance Transfer, or Portfolio Sales.
• Strong track record in managing multiple sales channels and consistently delivering sales targets.
• Highly self-motivated, proactive, and capable of operating independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, coaching, and negotiation skills.
• Experience managing external agencies and channel partners is an added advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, sales performance reporting, and CRM tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead unsecured lending sales across Credit Card and Portfolio channels.
• Drive monthly and annual sales targets across channels.
• Monitor daily KPIs and business targets.
• Identify performance gaps and emerging issues daily.
• Develop and execute immediate recovery plans to improve sales performance.
• Establish governance and performance tracking across channels.
