Job summary

OCBC is seeking a Mortgage Business Development professional in Malaysia to drive mortgage sales growth and build strong relationships with customers, sales teams, and partners. You will analyze market trends, identify new opportunities, and work with product teams to tailor mortgage products to customer needs.

You will train and support the sales force, helping them succeed in a fast-paced environment while contributing to a culture of learning and continuous improvement within OCBC.

Qualifications

• A degree in a relevant field such as business or finance.
• At least 3 years of experience in mortgage business development or a related field.
• Strong understanding of the mortgage market and competitor activity.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Developing and implementing business development strategies to drive mortgage sales growth.
• Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, sales teams, and external partners.
• Conducting market research and competitor analysis to identify new business opportunities.
• Collaborating with our product teams to develop innovative mortgage products that meet customer needs.
• Providing training and support to our sales teams to ensure they have the knowledge and skills needed to succeed.
