Job summary

OCBC Bank (Malaysia) Berhad is seeking a Processor cum Authoriser for the Investment Operations team. You will process and authorise Deposit and Unit Trust transactions, verify instructions, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements while supporting system enhancements and process improvements.

The role requires a detail-oriented, customer-focused professional with a Bachelor's degree in banking/finance or related fields and relevant banking operations experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Banking, Finance, Business Administration, Accounting or a related discipline.
• Relevant experience in banking operations processing will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Process and authorise Deposit and Unit Trust transactions accurately within turnaround times.
• Verify customer instructions and documents for completeness and compliance before processing.
• Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Maintain documentation and archival of customer instructions and transaction records.
• Work closely with business partners to ensure smooth execution of activities and customer satisfaction.
• Respond to customer queries and feedback to ensure timely resolution.
• Support system enhancements, process improvements, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Ensure strict compliance with the Bank's policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Support audit, compliance and risk management activities as required.
• Contribute to initiatives that improve operational efficiency, accuracy, and service quality.
