Job summary

OCBC Malaysia is seeking an entry-level Operations Associate to handle daily processing and data input of customer requests, ensuring timeliness, accuracy, and compliance with banking policies. You will verify completeness, secure required approvals, respond to processing status inquiries, and escalate exceptions to supervisors when needed.

Responsibilities

• Handle daily processing and data input of customer requests on a timely and accurate basis.
• Verify completeness of requests and ensure proper authorisation before processing.
• Process and perform data entry for all verified requests.
• Check that input by the Maker is accurate via system checks and approvals.
• Attend to enquiries on processing status and resolve issues promptly.
• Escalate exception cases to Team Lead/Section Head as needed.
• Adhere to documented policies, procedures and regulatory requirements (e.g., AML).
• Support ad-hoc assignments and provide feedback for process improvements.
