Job summary

LUXASIA is seeking a Treasury Assistant to support a broad range of treasury activities including cashflow forecasting, bank communications, and compliance with banking covenants. You will assist in cash management, FX tracking, and reporting to the Group CFO and internal stakeholders.

The role emphasizes English communication, word and Excel proficiency, and prior treasury experience is advantageous in a fast-paced environment in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Qualifications

• Prior Treasury experience is an advantage.
• Good written and oral skills in English.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Preparing loan drawdowns, rollovers & settlement letters to the bank.
• Preparing banking and trade finance forms.
• Monitor banks loan payments and advise on interest accruals to Controllership.
• Assist in preparing Group’s (bi-)monthly cashflow forecast to ensure cash and liquidity.
• Assist in analysis & monitoring Group’s weekly bank balance.
• Assist in tracking and analysis of foreign exchange.
• Assist in tabulating and monitoring bank covenants.
• Facilitate bank account management including account opening, closing, and changing signatories.
• Liaise with banks on treasury operations and cash related matters.
• Assist in preparation of reports for Group CFO and internal stakeholders.
• Assist and/or execute on any other tasks as assigned by Treasury Manager.

Responsible for assisting the Treasury Manager in a broad range of treasury activities including:

• Preparing loan drawdowns, rollovers & settlement letters to the bank
• Preparing banking and trade finance forms
• Monitor banks loan especially relating to interest and loan related payments/processes and advise on loan interest accruals to Controllership team.
