We are seeking a Transport Coordination Executive to join East Blue Logistics PLT in Gelang Patah, Johor Bahru, Johor. This is a full-time position that plays a vital role in ensuring the seamless coordination and management of our fleet operations. As Transport Coordination Executive, you will be at the heart of our logistics operations, responsible for coordinating transport activities, optimizing routes, and ensuring timely delivery of goods whilst maintaining the highest safety and compliance standards. This role is essential to our commitment to delivering excellence in fleet management and logistics services.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinating daily transport schedules and vehicle dispatch to ensure efficient route planning and on-time deliveries
• Monitoring fleet movements in real-time and tracking vehicle locations to optimize operational efficiency
• Communicating with drivers, customers and warehouse teams to confirm delivery appointments and address any logistical challenges
• Maintaining accurate records of transport activities, including vehicle usage, fuel consumption, maintenance schedules and delivery documentation
• Identifying and resolving transport delays or operational issues to minimise disruption to service
• Liaising with fleet maintenance teams to ensure all vehicles are roadworthy and comply with safety regulations
• Preparing transport reports and performance metrics to support management decision-making
• Supporting compliance with transportation regulations, safety protocols and company policies
• Assisting with cost management by monitoring fuel usage, route efficiency and resource allocation

What we’re looking for

• Proven experience in transport coordination, fleet management or logistics operations, preferably in a similar role
• Strong knowledge of fleet management systems, vehicle tracking software and transport management systems
• Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to priorities multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and experience with logistics or transport software
• Outstanding communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively with drivers, customers, suppliers and internal teams
• Problem-solving mindset with the ability to make decisions quickly and independently
• A thorough understanding of transport regulations, safety compliance and road traffic laws
• Attention to detail with strong documentation and record-keeping abilities
• Flexibility to adapt to changing operational requirements
• A valid driving licence is advantageous
