Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to support the logistics team in operations, customs brokerage, and customer inquiries. The role involves coordinating shipments, liaising with logistics partners, and ensuring timely fulfilment.

The ideal candidate has a Diploma in Logistics or Supply Chain and at least 1 year of relevant experience, with strong English and Bahasa Malaysia and the ability to work under pressure during peak periods.

Qualifications

Minimum Diploma holder with relevant course studies in Logistics, Supply Chain, or similar.
1 year of logistics/supply chain experience or related field.
Good communication with multiple external stakeholders.
Strong English and Bahasa Malaysia; additional language is a plus.

Responsibilities

Provide daily support to logistics team in operations, customs brokerage, dealers’ enquiries and liaising with logistics partners to ensure shipment fulfilment.
Coordinate inbound/outbound shipments via air/sea/land and inventory management if applicable.
Review and audit customs declaration paperwork for duties, SST, HS code classification and discrepancies.
Attend to dealer enquiries nationwide and provide shipment support.
Other responsibilities as required.

Minimum Diploma holder with relevant course studies in Logistics, Supply Chain, and /or another similar area.

At least 1 year of work experience in a logistics and /or supply chain capacity, with basic understanding of logistics / operational flow, customer service & customs brokerage (i.e. import & export declarations)

Prior work experience in the automotive parts industry is an asset but not required.

Ability to work & perform under high pressure situations with sense of urgency, particularly during peak period.

Ability to communicate with and execute assignments effectively with multiple external stake holders.

Strong command of English and Bahasa Malaysia is highly beneficial. Knowledge of a 3rd language is an asset but not required.

To provide daily support to logistics team in areas of operations, customs brokerage, dealers’ enquiries (i.e. customer service) and liaising with logistics partners (i.e. for air sea & land shipments) to ensure shipment fulfilment.
To communicate and work closely with all of logistics partners for all inbound & outbound shipment arrangement via air, sea, or land & inventory management (if applicable). These may include daily shipment coordination, order drop, confirmation on logistics mode (i.e. air, courier or land) for certain shipment & etc.
To review and audit customs declaration paperwork prepared by logistics partners, particularly in areas of customs duty, SST, HS Code classification and overall accuracy of declarations, and to highlight any discrepancies.
To attend to enquiries from dealers nationwide (East & West M’sia) and assist to provide shipment support, where necessary.
Other responsibilities, as and when required.
