Job summary

MSC is seeking an Operations Executive to optimize vessel stowage and port operations across Asia, ensuring maximum capacity utilization, efficient sailing conditions and productive loading/discharging at hubs.

You will calculate slot requirements, manage daily vessel scheduling and allocation, and monitor KPIs, with a focus on cost analysis and contingency planning. Proficiency in MS Office and multi-language awareness are welcomed.

Qualifications

• Independent and able to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
• Able to work long hours, on weekends and public holidays when required.
• Good interpersonal, communication and time management skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Working knowledge of CASP is essential but not necessary.
• Believe in team-driven culture.

Responsibilities

• Knowledge of vessel stowage to achieve maximum utilization and optimum productivity for loading and discharging ports.

• Knowledge of port operations, port efficiency, and transshipment activities is an added advantage.
• Handle vessel contingency planning, including phase-in/phase-out with cost analysis and comparison.
• Management reporting and support to headquarters.

Knowledge of port operations, port efficiency, and transshipment activities would be an added advantage.

Handle vessel contingency planning, including vessel phase-in and phase-out activities, with comprehensive cost analysis and comparison.

Management reporting and support to headquarters.
