Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Junior to Mid-level Training Coordinator to deliver induction, onboarding, and refresher programs across the organization. You will implement approved training plans, facilitate sessions, and ensure consistent learning experiences for all staff.

Key focus areas include guest service training, safety and compliance, and operational readiness. The role requires 2+ years in training delivery, strong presentation skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Certificate in HR, Hospitality, Tourism, Education or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in training delivery, coaching, or service-oriented operations.
• Strong presentation and communication skills.
• Ability to engage and train frontline employees.
• Knowledge of LMS or safety/compliance training is a plus.

Working Hours: Office Hours

• Basic Salary: RM3,500 – RM4,500
• Target Experience: 2–4 years
• Level: Junior to Mid-level
• Reports to: Training Executive

Key Responsibilities

1. Training Delivery

• Conduct induction, onboarding, and refresher training programs.
• Deliver training according to approved training plans and materials.
• Ensure consistent learning experiences across all employees.

2. Service Excellence Training

• Facilitate Guest engagement, customer service, and behavioral standards training.
• Reinforce service culture and professionalism.
• Support initiatives to enhance Guest satisfaction and frontline performance.

3. Safety & Compliance Training

• Assist in delivering safety awareness, emergency response, and SOP training.
• Coordinate with Operations and Security teams to ensure compliance requirements are met.

4. Operational Readiness

• Support drills, rehearsals, and practical training exercises.
• Ensure Team Members understand emergency procedures and operational protocols.

5. Training Administration

• Maintain training attendance records, assessments, and feedback forms.
• Track training completion and report progress to the Training Executive
• Gather participant feedback and evaluate training effectiveness.
• Identify knowledge gaps and improvement opportunities.
• Assist in updating training content and materials when required.

Requirements

Education

Required

• Diploma or Certificate in Human Resources, Hospitality, Tourism, Education, or a related field.

Preferred

• Degree in Human Resources, Hospitality, Tourism, Education, or related discipline.

Experience

Required

• Minimum 2 years of experience in training delivery, coaching, facilitation, or service-oriented operations.

Preferred

• Experience within hospitality, tourism, attractions, retail, aviation, customer service, or other high-volume environments.

Required

• Strong presentation and communication skills.
• Ability to engage and train frontline employees.
• Understanding of customer service standards and operational procedures.
• Good organizational and documentation skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Able to support flexible training schedules when required.

• Knowledge of Learning Management Systems (LMS).

Certifications
