Job summary

Averis, a global services and solutions provider headquartered in Kuala Lumpur, is seeking fresh graduates for its Shipping Operations role. The successful candidate will handle export shipping documentation, coordinate with forwarders worldwide, and support sales orders in SAP.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in International Business, Business Administration, Logistics, or relevant discipline.
• Fresh graduates encouraged; training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Handle full export shipping documentation (Invoices, Packing lists, Bills of Lading, Certificates of Origin, etc.).
• Ensure shipping document releases comply with policies and procedures.
• Ensure full L/C compliances and liaise with forwarders/carriers worldwide.
• Manage day-to-day shipping transactions and coordinate with Sales team.
• Enter customer orders into SAP; release quotations and monitor LC/payments.

Functional Accountabilities:

Shipping

• Handling full set of Export shipping documentation and preparing the necessary shipping documents for Bank negotiation including Invoices, Packing lists, Bills of Lading, Certificates of Origin, etc.
• Ensure all the shipping documents release are compliance with policies and procedures.
• Ensure full Letter of Credit (L/C) compliances.
• Liaise and follow-up internally with forwarders / carriers for shipment / delivery status located all over the world.
• Manage day-to-day shipping transaction of the Trading Companies.
• Coordinate sales team by managing schedules, filing important documents and communicating relevant information.
• Ensure the adequacy of sales-related equipment or material
• Respond to complaints from customers and give after-sales support when requested.
• Handle the processing of all sales orders with accuracy and timeliness.
• Collect orders from Sales Team members, check pricing and required approvals, and enter customer orders into SAP based on the customer PO.
• Release quotations to customers, convert quotations into Sales Orders, and monitor LC and payment status.
• Monitor the sales team’s progress, identify shortcomings and propose improvements.
• Duties including operation reporting.
