Job summary

HSBC is seeking a Manager – Trade and Position Management Specialist in Kuala Lumpur. You will collaborate with Sales, Trading, IT and Risk to ensure accurate trade capture, strong controls, and operational efficiency across fixed income products.

Role requires 3+ years in Investment Banking operations or derivatives desk support, with a focus on governance, risk management, and process improvement. Hybrid work arrangement and regional collaboration across APAC are key features.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree required in a relevant field such as finance, business, or engineering.
• Experience in derivatives trade life cycle; front-to-back controls and risk awareness.
• Strong BA skills with structured problem solving and project execution.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Front Office, IT, and Risk to support trade lifecycle controls.
• Drive regional APAC trade desks and optimize STP and risk capture.
• Implement and monitor governance within the GM control framework.
• Support compression initiatives and regulatory capital optimization.
• Escalate issues timely and manage stakeholder expectations.
