Job summary

HSBC Kuala Lumpur is seeking an Assistant Manager for Trade Middle Office to support the Trade Operations team. You will process and oversee trade transactions, ensure service levels, and engage with customers while guiding a skilled group of checkers and analysts.

The role requires strong knowledge of ICC rules, international trade cycles, and proven leadership to drive efficiency and quality in a hybrid work environment in Malaysia.

Qualifications

• Excellent understanding of ICC publications (UCP/ISBP/ICC Opinions/URR/URC).
• Strong knowledge of international trade and full trade cycles.
• Ability to lead a motivated team, share knowledge, identify problems and drive improvements.

Responsibilities

• Provide full support to Trade Operations, including processing, administration, and customer liaison.
• Ensure high-quality service to internal and external customers within SLA.
• Manage team allocation, scheduling, and cross-trained resources to meet objectives.
