Job summary

EXEO Global Pte Ltd in Kuala Lumpur seeks a detail-oriented Customs Clerk to handle import/export declarations. You will process myCieds system, complete K1–K9 forms, and ensure accurate tariff classifications using HS codes. You will gather information, submit required documents, and monitor statuses to meet customer needs.

The role requires good communication, basic MS Office skills, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, with a proactive attitude and meticulous approach.

Responsibilities

• Process myCieds system workflows.
• Process Customs Forms K1, K2, K3, K4, K8, K9 and ZB (PKFZ).
• Check Tariff Finder (HS Code) for correct classification.
• Gather required information from sources for declarations.
• Prepare and submit data/documents for import/export declarations.
• Monitor declaration status and follow up with shippers and customs system.
• Ensure declarations are accurate and meet case requirements.
• Prepare reports as assigned by Team Lead.
• Provide Customs forms and PKFZ submissions on time per agreed TAT.
• Perform any other ad hoc tasks as required.

Key Accountabilities

• Process myCieds system.
• Process Customs Forms K1, K2, K3, K4, K8, K9, and ZB (PKFZ).
• Check Tariff Finder (HS Code) for accurate classification.
• Seek and gather required information from relevant sources as part of the declaration process.
• Prepare and submit data/documents required for import/export customs declarations.
• Monitor declaration status and follow up with shippers and the customs system on any issues.
• Ensure all declarations are completed accurately and handled according to case requirements.
• Prepare reports as assigned by the Team Lead.
• Provide Customs forms and PKFZ submissions on time based on the agreed TAT.
• Perform any other ad hoc tasks as required.

Skills & Experiences

• Possess minimum SPM or any any related certificates.
• Possess good communication and inter-personal skills
• Have basic knowledge in Microsoft office
• A fast learner with good initiative and work attitude
• Meticulous, ability to multi-task and able to work in fast-paced environment
