Cognizant in Kuala Lumpur seeks a Content Moderation Specialist to support DMCA-related takedown processes. You will review notices, assess copyright compliance, and determine whether content should be blocked, removed, or access restricted.

The role requires a graduate or law background, strong English, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Flexibility for 24x7 shifts and strict confidentiality is essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ to 3+ years of experience in any MNC
• Able to work both in a team and independently
• Ability to visualize, articulate, conceptualize or solve problems with sensible decisions
• Deliver high quality results with meticulous attention to detail
• Able to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and handle sensitive content

Responsabilités

• Work on various queues and complete assigned tickets within the TAT.
• Understand Client’s Internal Copyright Policies and Process.
• Raise bugs as applicable through the ticket life cycle.
• Assess, review and evaluate legal complaints to decide if content should be blocked, removed or access restricted.
• Ensure proper due-diligence and compliance for takedown, counter-notices, and circumvention processes.
• Investigate and examine copyright removal requests to determine DMCA applicability.
• Share and exchange information with copyright owners, reporting organizations, business partners, legal professionals and officials.
• Work with the tool and propose improvement ideas.
• Be flexible with timing to meet client needs.
• Review sensitive content, including graphic material.
• Maintain confidentiality while meeting deadlines.
