Responsibilities

• Define and implement automation strategies, roadmaps, frameworks, and standards to improve software quality and testing efficiency.
• Lead, mentor, and develop automation testing teams across multiple projects, ensuring effective delivery and continuous improvement.
• Design, implement, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks using tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Appium, UFT, or equivalent.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows to support continuous testing and faster software releases.
• Establish testing governance, quality metrics, automation KPIs, and best practices aligned with Agile and DevOps methodologies.
• Work closely with Development, Business, Infrastructure, and Project teams to align testing strategies with business objectives and delivery requirements.
• Identify opportunities to increase automation coverage, reduce manual testing effort, and improve overall testing effectiveness.
• Manage automation initiatives across multiple projects, monitor progress, address delivery challenges, and ensure quality standards are consistently maintained.

We are looking for an experienced Test Automation Manager to lead and scale test automation capabilities across multiple projects. This role requires a combination of strong technical expertise, strategic planning, and team leadership to drive automation initiatives, improve testing efficiency, and establish quality engineering best practices across the organization.

The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience in automation frameworks, CI/CD integration, and automation strategy development, alongside proven experience managing teams and collaborating with business and technology stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Test Automation Strategy: Define and implement automation strategies, roadmaps, frameworks, and standards to improve software quality and testing efficiency.
• Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop automation testing teams across multiple projects, ensuring effective delivery and continuous improvement.
• Framework Development: Design, implement, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks using tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Appium, UFT, or equivalent.

Requirements

• Minimum 8 years of experience in test automation, quality engineering, software testing, or a related field.
• Strong hands‑on experience in test automation frameworks and automation strategy development.
• Proven experience leading and managing automation testing teams across multiple projects.
• Strong knowledge of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC), Agile methodologies, and DevOps practices.
• Practical experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Appium, UFT, or equivalent.
• Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Demonstrated ability to define automation roadmaps, testing governance, quality metrics, and standards.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and team leadership skills.
• Ability to balance strategic oversight with hands‑on technical involvement.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the insurance, banking, or financial services industry.
• Exposure to API testing, performance testing, and test management tools.
• Experience working with regional or global teams.
• Relevant certifications in Agile, Scrum, Quality Assurance, or Test Automation.
