Job summary

NTT DATA Payment Services in Kuala Lumpur seeks an experienced QA Manager to lead testing strategy and drive automation across multiple software projects. You will oversee end-to-end test planning, execution, defect management, and reporting while coaching the QA team to improve quality standards.

The role requires 7–9 years in software testing and QA management, with DevOps/CI/CD experience and familiarity with ISO 9001 or TMMi frameworks. Financial services exposure is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/Engineering; ISTQB is a plus.
• 7-9 years in software testing and QA management, incl. automation, DevOps and CI/CD.
• Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, SDLC and Agile practices.
• Experience with ISO 9001 or TMMi frameworks; leadership and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline; relevant testing certifications (e.g., ISTQB) are an added advantage.
• Minimum 7-9 years of experience in software testing and quality assurance management, including test automation, DevOps, and CI/CD environments.
• Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, SDLC, Agile delivery practices, test strategy development, and defect management.
• Hands-on experience with test automation tools, API testing, CI/CD pipelines, and quality assurance frameworks such as ISO 9001 or TMMi.
• Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills; experience in payment, banking, or financial services is preferred.
