Job summary

The Coca-Cola Beverages Singapore, Malaysia & Brunei is seeking an Area Sales Manager to drive outlet development across the Sabah region. You will own area P&L, meet volume targets, and implement company strategies through Sales Executives, while motivating the sales team and ensuring compliance with Coca-Cola standards.

Ideal candidates bring 4+ years in FMCG sales, experience with distributors, and strong English and Bahasa Malaysia communication skills.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years of experience as Area Sales Manager, District Sales Manager or equivalent.
• Experience in managing distributors is a plus.
• Good communication in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

• Ensure Sales Team is equipped, motivated, and resourced to execute plans effectively.

• Analyze team performance, lead morning meetings, approve volumes, and monitor daily execution and incentives.
• Submit reports regularly and gather market insights for continuous improvement.
• Build strong customer relationships, understand their business, and ensure compliance with company standards.

What You’ll Do

What You Bring

• At least 4 years of working experience as an Area Sales Manager, District Sales Manager or equivalent. Preferably with experience in FMCG companies at the similar job level.
• Experience in leading and managing distributors would be an added advantage.
• Good communication skills in English & Bahasa Malaysia.
• A team player and ability to work well with people.
• Ability to lead, build discipline and coach team members; Sales Team Leads, Sales Representatives, Sales Merchandisers.
• Self-motivated, focus on results and goal – oriented person.
• Merchandising knowledge is an added advantage.
