Job summary

JKS Engineering (M) Sdn Bhd is seeking a proactive engineer to join our Techno-Commercial team in Malaysia. You will analyse costs, prepare proposals, and support business development while managing strategic customer accounts.

The role requires strong analytical skills, proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, and fluency in English and Mandarin to communicate with customers in China and Taiwan. Domestic and overseas travel is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
• Fresh graduates or 1–3 years' experience encouraged to apply.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Fluent in English and Mandarin (spoken and written).

Responsibilities

• Prepare professional technical and commercial proposals.
• Develop project costing, pricing analysis and commercial quotations.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, Production and Finance to obtain costing information.
• Ensure quotations are accurate, competitive and submitted on time.
• Maintain proposal, costing and quotation databases.
• Provide technical and commercial support to the Business Development team.
• Coordinate customer requirements and develop best technical solutions.
• Support customer presentations, project discussions and technical clarification meetings.
• Build and maintain relationships with assigned strategic customers.
• Understand customers' manufacturing processes and future plans.
• Conduct customer visits, site surveys and account review meetings.
• Identify new project opportunities and support long-term account development.
