Job summary

Hok Huat Group is seeking a hands-on Production/Plant Operator to ensure smooth operation of the production plant and to plan maintenance for equipment and machinery. The role involves coordinating spare parts, preparing detailed production and quality reports, and ensuring compliance with GMP, ISO and MSPO standards.

The successful candidate will work on a shift, six days a week including weekends, and be on standby for plant breakdowns.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience preferred.
• Willing to work on shift, 6 days a week and weekends.
• Must be on standby in the event of plant breakdown.
• Meticulous and organized.
• Able to communicate with all levels of staff.

Responsibilities

• Ensure smooth running of production plant.
• Plan maintenance and servicing schedule for plant equipment / machineries.
• Ensure spare parts stock is available and liaise with suppliers for purchases.
• Prepare daily, monthly and yearly report on production output.
• Oversee maintenance of raw material and product quality.
• Prepare off-spec for palm kernel quality summary and ensure supplier compliance to specifications.
• Participate in GMP, ISO and MSPO certification processes.
• Prepare documentation of production and lab operations for audit purposes.
• Manage Schedule Waste at the mill.
• Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned by Managers/Directors.
