Job summary

Malayan Flour Mills is seeking a Maintenance role to carry out repair and upkeep of production equipment, ensuring minimal downtime and continuous improvements for quality products.

The candidate will monitor daily maintenance tasks, adhere to SOPs and PPE requirements across production areas, and participate in HACCP/HAPPC activities as directed by management.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Certificate in Mechanical Engineering or related (Fresh graduates are welcome to apply).
• Ability to handle maintenance tasks in a production environment.

Responsibilities

• Carry out repair and maintenance of equipment to ensure production is not interrupted.
• Assist in monitoring and daily maintenance works to reduce machinery downtime.
• Observe and follow all Operating Procedures and ensure safety practices are adhered to at all production areas including work and repair shop. Ensure all workers and visitors wear PPE as and when required.
• To perform any other tasks and assignments as directed by management from time to time.
• Comply with the requirements of HACCP; support and participate in HAPPC activities.
