Job summary

Private Advertiser is seeking a production operator in Malaysia to monitor and operate production machinery such as ballmill, heater and chocolate filling equipment. You will ensure materials are added per schedule, monitor cooking and filling to meet daily targets, and assist with packing while maintaining safety and cleanliness.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and operate production machines, including ballmill, heater and filling machines.
• Monitor machine starting and ensure materials are added according to the production schedule.
• Monitor the cooking and filling of products according to the daily production target.
• Assist in product packing and packaging activities.
• Achieve the required packing target.
• Standby and assist with machine setting according to different packing sizes.
• Monitor tanker and production machinery.
• Check electrical switches and ensure all switches are turned off safely before leaving work.
• Report machine problems or breakdowns to the person-in-charge immediately.
• Prepare boxes and apply product stickers/labels.
• Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping around the ballmill and chocolate filling machine areas.
• Clear and dispose of rubbish properly.
• Submit required Opening, Afternoon and Closing SMS/ work updates.
• Perform other general duties related to production, technical and maintenance operations as assigned.
• To ensure the smooth, safe and efficient operation of production machinery, while supporting daily production, packing and housekeeping targets.
• Responsible, disciplined and hardworking.
• Able to work independently and follow work schedules.
• Willing to perform both technical and general worker duties.
• Basic knowledge of machinery, electrical systems or maintenance will be an advantage.
• Able to monitor machines and identify/ report basic operational problems.
• Good attendance and punctuality.
• Able to work in a production/ factory environment.
• Previous experience in production, technical, maintenance or packing is an advantage.
