Job summary

SARAWAK OIL PALMS BERHAD is seeking a Management Trainee (Engineer) to join our engineering team in Sarawak. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply and training will cover mill operations and maintenance across our rural Metanik, Lambir and Sabaju mills.

You will oversee operations, drive efficiency, supervise the technical workforce, and ensure compliance with ISCC, MSPO and MESTI standards while developing cost-saving innovations.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical / Chemical / Electrical / Petrochemical Engineering or equivalent.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Oversee overall operations in the palm oil mill to ensure smooth processing and maintenance.
• Maintain optimal efficiency of all machinery.
• Supervise the technical workforce in daily operations.
• Ensure compliance with ISCC, MSPO, and MESTI standards at all times.
• Develop and implement innovative ideas to enhance mill efficiency and control costs.

Job description

• Possess at least a Degree in Mechanical / Chemical / Electrical / Petrochemical Engineering or equivalent
• Preferably with at least 2 years of working experience in palm oil industry
• Holding Grade 2 or Grade 1 Steam Engineer Competent Certification from DOSH (JKKP) will be an added advantage
• Must be prepared to work in rural locations - Metanik Mill / Lambir Mill / Sabaju Mill
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply as MANAGEMENT TRAINEE (ENGINEER)
