Job summary

PGEO Edible Oils Sdn Bhd is seeking a plant operator to operate and monitor production equipment and process systems in a safe, efficient, and continuous manner.

You will assist in troubleshooting process issues, maintaining product quality, and ensuring compliance with GMP, SOPs, and EHS requirements while keeping accurate production records.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical, Chemical or Process Engineering is required or related technical field.
• Experience in manufacturing, refinery or edible oils is an advantage.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor production plant equipment and process systems.
• Monitor process parameters such as temperature, pressure, flow rate, and tank levels.
• Perform routine inspections and equipment checks.
• Troubleshoot process and equipment issues and report abnormalities.
• Conduct product sampling and quality checks.
• Carry out preventive maintenance activities.
• Follow SOPs, GMP, Food Safety, and EHS requirements.
• Maintain accurate production records and operating logs.
• Participate in 5S and housekeeping activities.
• Work closely with supervisors and other departments to ensure smooth plant operations.
