Job summary

TMK Chemical Bhd. in Bukit Mertajam, Penang, invites you to join its sales team selling basic commodity chemicals to existing and new customers.

This role emphasizes identifying new business opportunities, achieving sales targets, and building strong client rapport through regular visits. The position requires a Diploma or Bachelor's degree and at least two years’ experience; Mandarin language skills are preferred for dealing with Mandarin-speaking clients.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in any field is required.
• At least 2 years of experience in the related field.
• Experience in chemical or related industry is an advantage.
• Detail-oriented, analytical and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Willing to be based in Bukit Mertajam, Penang.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for sales of basic commodity chemicals to existing and new customers.

To identify, explore and develop new business opportunities.

Ensure sales target and profit are achieved.

Establish and maintain good rapport with client through active follow-up and regular sales visits.

To monitor latest development and challenges in the market and assist the superior / Management on the market strategies.

REQUIREMENTS

Candidate must possess at least a Diploma / Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.

At least 2 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.

Relevant working experience in related industry will be an added advantage.

Preferably Mandarin speaking candidate, as the role requires candidate to deal with mandarin speaking clients.

Detail-oriented, analytical and able to multi-task in a fast paced environment.

Candidates must be willing to be based in Bukit Mertajam, Penang.
