Job summary

dormakaba Malaysia is seeking a skilled Maintenance and Coordination professional in Malacca City to oversee preventive maintenance, quickly address equipment breakdowns, and ensure safe, efficient operation of production lines.

You will coordinate with Production, Purchasing, Planning and QC, drive energy efficiency, manage housekeeping, and contribute to Kaizen improvement projects, reporting to the Assistance Engineer or Manager.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma in Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years of related field experience.
• Ability to coordinate with Production, Purchasing, Planning and QC.
• Result-oriented and team worker.

Responsibilities

• Perform periodic maintenance.
• Ensure breakdowns are attended to immediately and root cause rectified quickly.
• Repair spare parts / equipment in the WIP area.
• Report to Assistance Engineer / Manager on breakdowns and follow up.
• Responsible for housekeeping of the work area.
• Improvement projects (Kaizen).

• Continuously improve machinery, focusing preventive maintenance.
• Improve energy efficiency by locating and eliminating wastage.

Authority

• To stop machine when there is a hazard.

Qualification

• Minimum Diploma in Engineering.

Experience

• Minimum 2 years of experience in related field.

Knowledge / Skill

• Result-orientated and team worker.
• Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
• Good interpersonal skill.
