Job summary

Hotel Maluri Kuala Lumpur is seeking a versatile multi-skilled technician to join our full-service hotel. You will coordinate and supervise day-to-day maintenance activities, identify issues early, and support improvement projects under the Maintenance Manager.

The role requires experience in hotel maintenance, knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing and kitchen trades, fluency in Malay and English, and flexibility to work rotating shifts, weekends, and public holidays.

Qualifications

• Experience as a multi-skilled technician in a hotel or similar facility.
• General knowledge of Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Kitchen trades.
• Able to communicate effectively in Malay and English, both written and spoken.
• Able to work on rotating shifts, weekends, and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise the day-to-day response to any maintenance issues within the hotel as required by the Maintenance Manager
• Identify the causes of maintenance issues and submit proposals for works to prevent future maintenance issues based on your knowledge and experience
• Assist with the execution of improvement projects at the property alongside the Maintenance Supervisor and Manager
• Record jobs completed, update logbooks and assist the Maintenance Manager in weekly and monthly reports, record keeping and the Monthly Inventory
