Job summary

DHL Malaysia is seeking a diligent candidate to support technical operations and warehouse tasks. You will inspect machines, prepare them for setup, and help with staging and delivery within the CAP workshop area.

Ideal candidates are fresh after SPM, fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia, able to work with minimal supervision, and comfortable handling machinery in a fast-paced environment. Training will be provided.

Qualifications

• Fresh after SPM and able to read/write English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work with little supervision.
• Fundamental knowledge of statistics.

Responsibilities

• Receive, verify, and inspect machines against work orders and serial numbers.
• Unpack machines and prepare them for setup and configuration; perform tests.
• Prepare documentation, labels, checklists, and licenses; ensure quality and safety.
• Coordinate with workshop for batch readiness and staging; ensure timely movement of machines.

Responsibilities

• 1. Technical Support

  • Receive, verify, and inspect machines against work orders, picking lists, and serial numbers.

  • Unpack machines and prepare them for setup and configuration.

  • Install consumables, load paper trays, and prepare standard accessories.

  • Prepare and attach required documentation, labels, checklists, and license documents.

  • Configure machines, activate software licenses, and perform firmware upgrades.

  • Conduct functional testing, print quality checks, and system configuration tests.

  • Clean and repack completed machines using the original packaging materials.

  • Maintain workstation cleanliness and comply with workplace safety and quality standards.

  2. Warehouse Support

  • Deliver and stage 10 machines per cycle at the designated CAP workshop area.

  • Complete machine delivery and staging within 45 minutes at the start of each cycle.

  • Return to the workshop once the batch is ready for collection.

  • Repack and strap completed machines securely for transportation.

  • Collect and return completed machines to the warehouse or outbound staging area within the required timeframe.

  • Handle machines carefully to prevent damage during movement, stacking, and transportation.

  • Maintain an organized staging area and coordinate with workshop technicians on batch readiness and collection schedules.

Requirements

• Fresh after SPM
• SPM with 23 years’ experience
• Able to read and write English & Bahasa Malaysia.
• Ability to work with minimum supervision
• Ability to use good judgment in making decisions,
• Fundamental working knowledge of statistics
• Must be flexible and able to work effectively within organization with little or no direct supervision.
• Must be able to interface successfully with various personalities, cultures and work environments.
• Has technical background
• Able to handle and maintain MHE (where required)
