Job summary

Centricore Systems Sdn. Bhd. in George Town, Penang, invites a dedicated Computer Technician to join our IT team on a contract basis.

You will provide frontline IT support, troubleshoot hardware, CCTV, and network issues for our diverse client base. You will perform installations, configurations, and upgrades, respond to inquiries promptly, document incidents, and collaborate with colleagues to improve processes and the customer experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a CCTV Technician or Computer Repair role.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Mandarin and English, both written and verbal.
• Knowledge of hardware, software, and network troubleshooting.
• Customer-focused approach and ability to work independently and in a team.

About the role

What you'll be doing

Provide frontline IT support and troubleshoot hardware, CCTV, and network issues for our clients

Perform installations, configurations, and upgrades of computer systems, peripherals, and CCTV

Respond to IT-related inquiries and requests in a timely and professional manner

Document all support activities and maintain accurate records of incidents and resolutions

Collaborate with the IT team members to implement process improvements and identify ways to enhance the overall customer experience

What we're looking for

Minimum 1 years of experience in an CCTV Technician or Computer Repair role

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to quickly identify and resolve technical issues

Proficient in Mandarin and English, both written and verbal, with excellent communication skills. We are seeking candidates proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.

Knowledge of hardware, software, and network troubleshooting

Customer-focused approach with the ability to provide exceptional service to clients

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
