Job summary

SNS Network (M) Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a Technical and Cabling Technician to service customer sites, perform maintenance, and verify issues on CCTV, NVR, network devices, and access control systems. The role includes troubleshooting, documenting reports, and coordinating with teams for escalation.

The candidate should have a professional IT/engineering credential and at least one year of field experience, with willingness to travel across Malaysia and work after hours when required.

Qualifications

• Professional certificate or higher in IT/engineering fields.
• 1 year or more in technical support, maintenance, or field service.
• Wiring and networking experience in related field required.
• Basic CCTV, surveillance, IP networking, switches, SD-WAN, access control, and security systems knowledge.
• Willingness to travel nationwide within Malaysia and onsite troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Attend assigned customer sites to perform maintenance support and issue verification.

• Verify equipment status, connectivity, power supply, and physical conditions.
• Prepare and submit site verification and diagnostic reports.
• Coordinate with internal teams and customers for escalation and follow-up actions.
• Maintain service records and project documentation.
• Provide 24×7 standby/on-call support when required.
• Ensure safety, quality, and customer service standards during site visits.

Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate in PW2/PW3/ PW4/ Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Telecommunications, or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in technical support, maintenance, or field service operations.
• Relevant wiring and networking experience in the related field is required for this position
• Basic knowledge of CCTV, surveillance systems, IP networking, switches, SD-WAN, access control, and security systems.
• Able to perform onsite troubleshooting and work independently.
• Possess own transport and able to travel outstation, nationwide within Malaysia.
• Ability to work after office hours, weekends, and public holidays when required.
