Job summary

Centricore Systems Sdn. Bhd. in George Town, Penang, is seeking a Computer Technician on a contract basis to provide frontline IT support for a diverse client base. You will troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues and document incidents and resolutions.

About the role

Centricore Systems Sdn. Bhd., a leading IT solutions provider, is seeking a dedicated Computer Technician to join our team in George Town, Penang. This contract role is an excellent opportunity to contribute your technical expertise and language skills to support our diverse client base.

What you'll be doing

• Provide frontline IT support and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues for our clients
• Perform installations, configurations, and upgrades of computer systems, peripherals, and software
• Respond to IT-related inquiries and requests in a timely and professional manner
• Document all support activities and maintain accurate records of incidents and resolutions
• Collaborate with the IT team members to implement process improvements and identify ways to enhance the overall customer experience

What we’re looking for

• Minimum 1 years of experience in an IT support or Computer Repair role
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to quickly identify and resolve technical issues
• Proficient in Mandarin and English, both written and verbal, with excellent communication skills. We are seeking candidates proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.
• Knowledge of hardware, software, and network troubleshooting
• Customer-focused approach with the ability to provide exceptional service to clients
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
