Job summary

Yokowo Electronics (M) Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking a CNC Technician to perform preventive maintenance on CNC machines and ensure daily readiness for production. You will update maintenance sheets, set up machines per tool lists, and confirm operations with the supervisor.

You will inspect materials and finished goods, perform calibrations as needed, and contribute to a tidy, safe work area while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Experience with CNC equipment and preventive maintenance.
• Familiarity with CAD drawing and machine setup.
• Ability to perform inspections and calibrations.
• Ability to interpret tool lists and use substitutions when needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on CNC machines daily, monthly, and annually.
• Update daily maintenance check sheets before operation.
• Set up CNC machines according to tool lists and validate with supervisor.
• Inspect materials and finished goods for quality and dimensions.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area.
• Troubleshoot and participate in improvement activities.

Job description

Perform preventive maintenance services necessary of the CNC machine in daily, monthly, and annually.

Update the daily maintenance check sheet before operating the CNC machine.

Follow the daily planned CNC machines, output, and directly confirm with superior or planner for any enquiries or issues related to the machine operation.

Perform inspection and calibration if necessary to all equipment daily before usage.

Setup CNC machine according to the tool list and use other tool substitute if necessary, with superior validation.

Perform visual and dimension inspection to the material blank before load into the CNC machine.

Operate CNC machine in comply with target plan and CNC machine running ratio while take responsibility to maximize output quantity without diminishing quality and maximize CNC machine's running time.

Perform visual and important dimension inspection to the finished goods either by full inspection if finished goods is single per cycle or by at least 50% sampling if the finished goods are more than one (1) per cycle.

Perform sorting, rework and recut to the finished goods in necessary before proceeding to the next section.

Responsible to the working area in terms of cleanliness, tidiness, organized and systemic.

Involves in troubleshoot and improvement activities.

Perform other responsibilities as assigned by superior or management from time to time.
