ABLY PERFECT SDN BHD in Kulai, Johor is hiring a skilled CNC Machinist for a full-time on-site role. You will operate CNC mills, lathes and multi-axis machines to produce precision components to exact specifications, set up and configure tools, and monitor quality throughout production.

The ideal candidate has proven CNC experience, reads technical drawings, uses precision measurement tools, and stays compliant with safety standards while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced manufacturing

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a CNC Machinist or similar in manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of CNC operation: setup, programming and running machines.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings/blueprints.
• Hands-on with precision measurement tools and quality control procedures.
• Familiarity with CAD software and CNC programming languages is a plus.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to high-quality output.
• Strong problem-solving skills and independent troubleshooting ability.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and meet deadlines.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC mills, lathes and multi-axis machines to manufacture components per drawings.
• Set up machines, load materials, configure tools before runs.
• Monitor operations for precision and quality; maintain standards.
• Measure parts with calipers, micrometers and gauges to verify tolerances.
• Troubleshoot malfunctions; perform routine maintenance as needed.

• Follow SOPs and safety guidelines at all times.

About the role

ABLY PERFECT SDN BHD is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our manufacturing team in Kulai, Johor. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in our production operations. As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining computer numerical control (CNC) machines to produce precision components and parts to exact specifications. This role is essential to maintaining our quality standards and meeting production deadlines, making it a key position within our manufacturing division.

Key responsibilities

• Operate CNC machines including mills, lathes, and multi-axis machines to produce components according to technical drawings and specifications
• Set up machines, load materials, and configure tools and equipment before production runs
• Monitor machine operations to ensure precision, accuracy, and compliance with quality standards
• Measure completed components using precision instruments such as callipers, micrometres, and gauges to verify dimensional accuracy
• Identify and troubleshoot machine malfunctions, performing routine maintenance and adjustments as needed
• Document production data, including cycle times, material usage, and any issues encountered during machining
• Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety regulations
• Collaborate with supervisors and quality control teams to resolve production issues and optimise efficiency
• Follow all standard operating procedures and workplace safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment

What we're looking for

• Proven experience as a CNC Machinist or in a similar machine operator role within a manufacturing environment
• Strong knowledge of CNC machine operation, including setting up, programming, and running machines
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications
• Hands-on experience with precision measurement tools and quality control procedures
• Familiarity with computer-aided design (CAD) software and CNC programming languages is advantageous
