Job summary

Synturn (M) Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking a Maintenance Technician to service CNC turning machines. You will perform routine and corrective maintenance, quickly troubleshoot breakdowns, and diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and controller faults to minimize downtime.

You will repair or replace components, record maintenance activities and spare parts usage, and uphold 5S standards in the workshop.

Qualifications

• Min 2 years related to CNC lathe maintenance mentioned in the posting.
• Ability to read technical manuals, blueprints and schematics.
• Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical and software components of CNC machines.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance on CNC turning machines
• Carry out corrective maintenance and troubleshoot machine breakdowns promptly to minimize production downtime
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and controller faults
• Repair, replace and adjust machine components to restore equipment performance
• Record maintenance activities, spare part usage and machine conditions
• Maintain good housekeeping in the workshop and maintenance areas (5S)

Job description

Perform routine maintenance on CNC turning machines

Carry out corrective maintenance and troubleshoot machine breakdowns promptly to minimize production downtime

Job Requirements:

Min 2 years work experience related to CNC lathe machine and barloader

Strong understanding of mechanical , electrical and software components of CNC machines

Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics

Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing CNC turning machines

5.5 days work (Mon to Fri: 8.15am to 5.15pm, Sat: 7.45am to 12.00pm)
