Job summary

Sunway International School (Johor) is seeking a qualified Technician to support the smooth operation and maintenance of the school's facilities and infrastructure. You will perform routine checks, repair electrical and plumbing systems, and provide logistical and technical support for daily classes and events.

Offered responsibilities include being on-call for facilities support, understanding the school layout and SOPs, and reporting to Management with status updates.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Certificate in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 2 years' of relevant working experience.
• Strong knowledge of operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of AV equipment, electronic appliances, and M&E systems.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to communicate effectively in English.

Repair and install electrical equipment, plumbing systems, and other operational requirements.

Provide logistical and technical support for daily classes, school events and functions.

To be on-call at all times to provide technical and facilities support.

To be familiar with the school layout, organizational structure and standard operating procedures.

Attend to complaints regarding building facilities and report to Management for timely resolution; supervise all works on premises and provide status reports to the Management.

To support the Emergency Response Team (ERT).

Requirements:
