Job summary

Geon Asia Marketing is looking for a candidate to perform installation and setup of Audio Visual systems in Seri Kembangan, Selangor. Responsibilities include cabling works and equipment setup while ensuring safety protocols are followed.

Qualifications

• Certificate or Diploma in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, IT, or Mechanical Engineering is required.
• 2-3 years of experience in the AV industry is preferred.
• Good attitude and willingness to learn are essential.
• Able to communicate in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Responsibilities

• Install, set up, test, and configure Audio Visual systems.
• Carry out cabling works including HDMI and audio cabling.
• Assist with troubleshooting and preventive maintenance activities.

Job description

Responsibilities

1. Perform installation, setup, testing, and basic configuration of Audio Visual systems and equipment
2. Carry out cabling works including HDMI, audio, network, and power cabling
3. Assist in TV wall mounting, projector installation, speaker installation, and equipment rack setup
4. Support troubleshooting, repair, servicing, and preventive maintenance activities
5. Assist in onsite testing and commissioning works
6. Prepare and submit Job Sheet Forms and service reports after work completion
7. Ensure proper handling of tools, equipment, and company assets
8. Follow safety procedures and company standards during onsite work
9. Support warehouse preparation, equipment loading/unloading, and stock arrangement when required
10. Perform any other duties assigned by management

Requirements

1. Candidate must possess at least a Certificate or Diploma in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, IT, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent
2. 2-3 years experience in AV industry is preferrable
3. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
4. Experience in Audio Visual or IT industry will be an added advantage
5. Basic knowledge in AV installation and cabling works is preferred
6. Able to use basic hand tools and power tools
7. Good attitude, responsible, and willing to learn
8. Able to work independently and as part of a team
9. Able to communicate in English and Bahasa Malaysia
10. Willing to travel, work outstation, and overtime when required
