Job summary

Credit Bureau Malaysia is seeking a Facilities Technician based in Johor Bahru to maintain and repair building systems. The role covers electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and civil works, with hands-on troubleshooting and routine inspections to ensure safe and efficient facilities.

You will support preventive maintenance, coordinate with suppliers, and assist with event setups and decor projects. Knowledge of PDPA and safety policies is required, along with strong teamwork and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Assist in daily maintenance, repair, and upkeep of building facilities including electrical, plumbing, air-conditioning, and civil works.
• Perform general repair, painting, toiletry fitting, and plumbing tasks according to standards.
• Troubleshoot and carry out hands-on repair works promptly for issues related to building structure or systems.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure facilities and equipment are in good working condition.
• Support preventive maintenance programs and report abnormalities or unsafe conditions.
• Coordinate with suppliers and contractors on repair or maintenance works when required.
• Provide assistance during festive seasons, event setups, and marketing displays or decorations.
• Ensure proper use and upkeep of tools, materials, and equipment.
• Adhere to PDPA, Sunway Compliance Manual, and safety, health, and environmental policies.

Requirements

• Minimum a Certificate in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, SPM with recognized trade qualification, or equivalent TVET certification.
• Proficient in both English and Bahasa Malaysia (spoken and written).
• Possesses strong technical skills and problem-solving abilities.
• Good understanding of preventive maintenance practices and knowledge of relevant building codes, fire safety regulations, and local standards.
• Strong team player with the ability to work collaboratively.
• Able to work on shifts, including weekends and public holidays (6 working days per week).
• Willing be based at Johor Bahru (Sunway RTS Mall) and Iskandar Puteri (Sunway Big Bx Sdn Bhd).
