Qualifications

• Certificate or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, ACMV or related field.
• 1-2 years’ experience in facilities or related role (fresh graduates are encouraged).
• Basic knowledge of ACMV, fire protection, water supply, and plumbing.
• Willing to learn, able to follow instructions, and work well in a team-based environment.
• Basic English and Bahasa Malaysia; computer literate.

Responsibilities

• Assist in carrying out corrective and preventive maintenance for building services (mechanical, electrical, plumbing, basic civil works).
• Support daily operation and basic maintenance of ACMV systems to ensure proper comfort and system performance.
• Assist in maintaining fire protection systems, including fire alarm and fire-fighting equipment.
• Help monitor and maintain water supply systems, including pumps, tanks, and plumbing services.
• Support inspection and basic checks of building plant rooms (pump rooms, chiller areas, switch rooms).
• Attend to minor breakdowns and service requests, escalating to senior technicians as needed.
• Assist in supervising contractors during maintenance works and report issues to supervisor.
• Record maintenance activities, breakdowns, and inspections in CMMS or logbooks.
• Respond to emergency calls and support senior staff during breakdowns.
• Follow safety, health, and environmental procedures and maintain good housekeeping.
