Hotel maintenance environment

Job summary

Hotel Vistaria is seeking a skilled Technician/Maintenance Engineer to perform routine maintenance, inspections and repairs across the hotel. You will troubleshoot electrical and technical issues to keep facilities operating safely and efficiently, and carry out domestic and industrial wiring and related maintenance tasks.

The role requires a minimum of 3 years in a technician/maintenance role, with SP M/Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical/Technical or related field and MLVK or equivalent

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a technician or maintenance role.
• SPM or Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, Technical or related field.
• MLVK or equivalent competency certification covering domestic and industrial electrical wiring.
• Good knowledge of electrical wiring and maintenance.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing is required.
• Able to troubleshoot technical problems and work independently.
• Safe, responsible and reliable in a hotel maintenance environment.

Perform routine maintenance, inspection and repair works throughout the hotel.

Troubleshoot and resolve electrical and technical issues to ensure hotel facilities operate safely and efficiently.

Carry out domestic and industrial electrical wiring and related electrical maintenance works.

Assist with general building maintenance and repair tasks.

Perform basic plumbing works, including troubleshooting and minor repairs.

Conduct preventive maintenance on electrical systems, equipment and hotel facilities.

Respond promptly to maintenance requests and attend to technical issues when required.

Ensure all maintenance work is carried out safely and according to proper procedures.

Requirements

Minimum 3 years of working experience in a technician or maintenance-related role.

Minimum SPM / Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, Technical or related field.

Must possess MLVK / relevant competency certification covering domestic and industrial electrical wiring, or an equivalent technical certification.

Good knowledge and practical skills in electrical wiring and maintenance.

Basic knowledge and hands-on skills in plumbing are required.

Knowledgeable in general building and facility maintenance.

Able to troubleshoot technical problems and work independently.

Responsible, reliable and safety-conscious.

Competitive salary of RM2,500 – RM2,800
