Job summary

Compart Systems Technologies (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a skilled Technician to support production by maintaining machinery, ensuring process reliability, and driving continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

Job description

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Technician to support production operations by maintaining machinery performance, ensuring process reliability, and driving continuous improvement. The role involves performing machine setup, troubleshooting, and first‑article inspections while collaborating with engineers and production teams to resolve technical issues. This position is offered on a 6‑month contract basis.

Responsibilities:

Maintaining the overall performance and functionality of production machinery.

Follow PWI or making complex adjustments to machine systems to optimize performance and efficiency beyond the initial setup (machine adjustment form).

Identifying and implementing improvements to machine reliability and performance.

Perform 1st piece inspection (FA parts) & obtain approval from quality department personnel before handover the machine to operator for mass production.

Perform sample fabrication, machine setup and minor machine trouble shooting.

Maintain safe operations by adhering to safety procedures & regulations.

Maintains continuity among work shifts by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities and continuing needs.

Confers with engineers, programmers, production personnel, or others to resolve machining problems.

Demonstrate sense of urgency in meeting deadlines and goals, prioritizing quality and timeliness are of paramount importance to management and our customers.

Responsible to keep work areas, benches, machinery and tools clean and tidy condition after used (6S).

Accomplishes organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests, exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

May train less experienced technicians.

Perform any other tasks deem necessary by the Management.

Requirements:

Minimum Diploma in related field with 2 years experiences in related field.

Experienced in handling CNC and lathe machine and/or other machines.

Able to work in 12 hours rotating shift including weekends & public holidays or as required.
