Job summary

DNC Automation (M) Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking a hands-on Mechanical Technician to perform assembly, installation, testing and on-site setup of conveyors and machines according to project timelines. You will assist in machine testing and commissioning and provide technical support to production and project teams.

• Diploma or certification in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a mechanical technician or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams.
• Knowledge of welding, machining, and fabrication techniques is an advantage.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

• Housekeeping and maintenance of workshop and tooling.

• Any ad hoc task as assigned by superior

Job description

Perform mechanical assembly, installation, testing & on-site setup of the machine/conveyor based on the timelines

Assist in machine testing and commissioning.

Operate hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment as needed.

Provide technical support to production and project teams.

Housekeeping and maintenance of workshop and tooling.

Perform general troubleshooting on site

Carry out hot work such as welding and cutting

Assist electrical team for project development if required

Qualifications & Skills:
