Sandisk in Central Seberang Perai, Malaysia, seeks a detail-oriented Technician 1, Manufacturing Equipment Maintenance to maintain and repair manufacturing equipment, ensuring optimal performance and minimal downtime.

You will perform routine inspections, diagnose mechanical/electrical issues, and support automation systems including ARV/ARS and turntable equipment. A Certificate in a relevant field is required and willingness to learn and work 12-hour rotating shifts are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Minimum Certificate in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics or SKM Phase 3 (or equivalent).
• Basic understanding of mechanical or electrical systems.
• Willingness to learn and take instructions.
• Assist in operating production or automation equipment.
• Perform basic checks, monitoring, and routine operations as assigned.
• Support shift teams to ensure smooth daily operation
• Conduct basic preventive maintenance tasks under supervision.
• Assist in troubleshooting equipment issues and escalating when needed
• Assist senior technicians in corrective maintenance tasks.
• Follow technical instructions and work procedures

• Maintain accurate maintenance logs and repair records
• Collaborate with production teams to schedule maintenance activities
• Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures in the manufacturing environment
• Assist SME and engineer in the implementation of equipment upgrades and improvements
• Participate in ongoing training to stay current with new technologies and maintenance techniques

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Technician 1, Manufacturing Equipment Maintenance to join our team in Central Seberang Perai, Malaysia.
