Job summary

Ultimate Machining Solutions (M) Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking a skilled CNC Technician to install, maintain and service CNC machines, ensuring precision and uptime across production lines.

You will read engineering drawings, diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, and document actions and outcomes. The role requires teamwork, initiative, and strong problem-solving skills while complying with safety standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum technical certificate or Diploma in Engineering with 3+ years of relevant experience.
• Able to work weekends and public holidays if urgently required by the HOD.
• Possess good communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and service CNC machines to ensure proper functionality and precision.
• Troubleshoot diagnostics and repairs on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Conduct routine preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and extend machine life.
• Calibrate and align CNC machines to meet specifications and standards.
• Read and interpret technical manuals, drawings, and schematics.

Job description

Install, maintain, and service CNC machines, ensuring proper functionality and precision.

Perform troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repairs on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.

Conduct routine preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan.

Calibrate and align CNC machines to meet technical specifications and operational standards.

Replace or repair worn-out machine parts, tools, and accessories.

Read and interpret technical manuals, engineering drawings, and schematics.

Document service activities, maintenance reports, and machine performance logs.

Ensure compliance with safety protocols and company maintenance procedures.

Provide technical support and training to machine operators and production staff.

Collaborate with engineers, supervisors, and production teams to resolve technical issues efficiently.

Requirements

Minimum technical certificate or Diploma in Engineering with a minimum of 3 years' relevant experience.

Able to work weekend and public holidays if any urgent work assign by HOD.
