Job summary

Natural Avenue Sdn Bhd is seeking a technically skilled field technician to perform preventive maintenance on POS systems and related equipment. The role involves diagnosing POS issues, bench repairs, and on-site installation and configuration at customer locations.

The ideal candidate will have a Diploma in Electronics/IT related fields with hands-on experience in network cabling, routers/switches, and CCTV/IP phone installation.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Electronics & Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Hands-on experience in network cabling installation, termination, testing and troubleshooting.
• Experience with routers, switches and network equipment setup and configuration.
• Experience with hardware installation, maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Experience with POS terminal installation, maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Experience with CCTV and IP phone installation and basic network configuration.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on POS and related equipment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve POS equipment failures and technical complaints within the required response time.
• Perform bench repair, testing, and troubleshooting of electronic and POS equipment.
• Install, configure, and commission POS equipment at customer sites.
• Install and terminate POS network cabling, including testing and troubleshooting.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot CCTV systems, IP phones, and other network-connected equipment.
• Set up and troubleshoot routers, switches, and other network equipment.
• Provide onsite technical support and assist with other technical tasks as required.

Job description

Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on POS and related equipment according to the maintenance schedule

Troubleshoot and resolve POS equipment failures and technical complaints within the required response time

Perform bench repair, testing, and troubleshooting of electronic and POS equipment

Install, configure, and commission POS equipment at customer sites

Install and terminate POS network cabling, including cable testing and troubleshooting

Install, configure, and troubleshoot CCTV systems, IP phones, and other network-connected equipment

Set up and troubleshoot routers, switches, and other network equipment

Provide onsite technical support and assist with other technical tasks as required

Requirements:

Diploma in Electronic & Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, IT, Networking, or a related field

Basic knowledge and hands‑on experience in network cabling installation, termination, testing, and troubleshooting

Basic knowledge and hands‑on experience in routers, switches, and network equipment setup and configuration

Basic knowledge and hands‑on experience in hardware installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting

Basic knowledge and hands‑on experience in POS terminal installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting

Basic knowledge and hands‑on experience in basic electronic circuit troubleshooting and bench repair

Basic knowledge and hands‑on experience in CCTV and IP phone installation and basic network configuration

Good troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills with a hands‑on approach

Willing to perform onsite technical support and travel to customer locations when required

Possess a valid driving license
