Hands-on experience with various technologies such as Windows Server and SQL databases is essential, alongside the ability to develop relationships with vendors and keep the company’s IT direction aligned.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in network topology & security and retail equipment.
• Comprehensive understanding of network architecture and client/server technology.
• Hands-on experience with Windows Server 2012 onward operating systems, patching, backup/restore.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Active Directory and windows clustering technologies.
• Hands-on experience working with SAN/NAS storage sub-systems.
• Experience with SQL databases management such as backup, recovery, and maintenance.
• Experience with firewall management and other network security devices.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Responsible for installation and maintenance of all IT Hardware, infrastructure, and services.
• Oversees network/server/workstation maintenance and troubleshooting, budgetary control, problem resolution, and information security.
• Develops positive relationships with vendors and ensures solutions applied are within company’s direction.
• Reviews diagnostics and assesses the functionality and efficiency of systems.
• Administrates disaster plans that keep the company functional.
• Determines rationale and methods for upgrading company network software programs each time an update is released.
• Monitors changing network technology and delivers a technology update to the executive team each quarter.
• Coordinates the team to ensure task schedules are on track with regular updates.
• Has a comprehensive understanding of network architecture and client/server technology.
• Has experience with Firewall Palo Alto, SonicWALL, Cisco Meraki, and other network security devices.
• Has hands‑on experience with Windows Server 2012 onward operating systems, patching, backup/restore, monitoring, and other management/administration software and components.
• Has experience with administration in server virtualization technology.
• Has hands‑on experience with Microsoft Active Directory and windows clustering technologies.
