Job summary

LINKTRIX Consultants, Asia Pacific seeks a Technician in Malaysia to perform hands-on equipment setup, troubleshooting, maintenance, calibration, and process improvements using advanced semiconductor technology.

The role involves supporting materials, changeovers, part changes, and machine downtime events, with emphasis on 5S and cross-functional collaboration to enhance equipment performance.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechatronics, Mechanical, Electronics or related fields.
• Strong troubleshooting capabilities for electrical/mechanical systems.
• Excellent organization and collaboration skills.
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive support for materials, setup changes, and area 5S and cleanliness.
• Attend changeovers, conversions, optimizations, part changes, and machine downtime events.
• Set up, calibrate, and maintain tools.
• Perform part inspection and measurement with scopes, micrometers, calipers.
• Maintain and apply 5S practices.
• Provide updates on anomalies to the team and supervisor promptly.
• Involve in Engineering projects, audits or shop floor programs.
• Provide cross-area/process support when required.
• Work during off days and overtime when required.

Job responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive support for materials, setup changes, and area 5S and cleanliness
• Attend changeovers, conversions, optimizations, part changes, and machine downtime events
• Set up, calibrate, and maintain tools
• Perform part inspection and measurement with scopes, micrometers, calipers
• Maintain and apply 5S practices
• Provide constructive updates and feedback on anomalies to the team and supervisor timely
• Involve in any Engineering project, program or event, internal audit and support machine shop related program
• Provide cross area/process support when required
• Work during off days and overtime when required

Job Requirement

• Diploma in Mechatronics, Mechanical, Electronics or any relevant fields
• Self-driven with ability to identify and resolve issues to improve equipment performance
• Good troubleshooting skills on electrical/mechanical systems
