Job summary

Linktrix Consultants seeks a Technician for a global semiconductor client in Malaysia. You will set up, calibrate, and maintain tools while supporting materials, 5S, and process changes in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities include attending changeovers, performing inspections with precision instruments, and contributing to engineering projects. Willingness to work overtime as needed and collaborate across functions.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechatronics, Mechanical, Electronics or any relevant fields

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive support for materials, setup changes, and area 5S and cleanliness
• Attend changeovers, conversions, optimizations, part changes, and machine downtime events
• Set up, calibrate, and maintain tools
• Perform part inspection and measurement with scopes, micrometers, calipers
• Maintain and apply 5S practices
• Provide updates on anomalies to the team and supervisor in a timely manner
• Involve in any Engineering project, program or event, internal audit and support machine shop related programs
• Provide cross area/process support when required
• Work during off days and overtime when required

Job responsibilities

Job Requirement

Self-driven with ability to identify and resolve issues to improve equipment performance

Good troubleshooting skills on electrical/mechanical systems

Excellent organizational, teaming and troubleshooting skills

Demonstrated strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem solving skills

Ability to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functions
