Job summary

Kanry Search seeks a Production / Assembly Technician to assemble semiconductor equipment and sub-assemblies in Pasir Gudang, Johor. Fresh diploma graduates are encouraged to apply, with rotating AM/PM shifts in a US multinational high-tech manufacturing environment.

You will read engineering drawings, perform equipment installation, wiring, and basic calibration, using hand and power tools. Attractive shift allowances and overtime are available, with potential for permanent conversion.

Salary Before OT: RM2500 - RM3500 (Basic + Fixed allowance)
Gross Salary Up To RM4,000 with shift allowances, overtime and applicable benefits

Working Hours

Rotating AM & PM shifts
Candidates must be willing and able to work rotating shifts.

Job Responsibilities

Assemble and build semiconductor equipment, modules and sub-assemblies involving mechanical, electrical and pneumatic components.

Perform equipment installation, component fitting, wiring, tubing and module integration according to work instructions.

Read and understand engineering drawings, schematic diagrams, wiring diagrams and Bills of Materials (BOM).

Use hand tools, power tools, torque tools and basic measuring equipment during equipment assembly.

Perform equipment testing, functional checks, alignment and basic calibration.

Conduct basic troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical and pneumatic issues.

Identify assembly defects, material abnormalities or equipment issues and elevate when necessary.

Complete production, equipment and inspection records accurately.

Follow cleanroom, ESD, quality and workplace safety requirements.

Maintain proper housekeeping and comply with 5S / 7S manufacturing standards.

Work closely with engineers, senior technicians and production teams to complete equipment builds according to production schedules.

Support continuous improvement and other equipment-related activities when required.

Job Requirements

Diploma in Mechatronics, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Automation, Robotics or a related technical discipline.

Fresh graduates who have recently completed their Diploma or internship are encouraged to apply.

Candidates with experience in equipment assembly, machine building, automation, semiconductor or high-tech manufacturing will have an advantage.

Able to understand basic schematic diagrams, engineering drawings and BOM.

Comfortable performing hands-on mechanical and electrical assembly work.

SPM / SKM holders with approximately 4-5 years of relevant technical / equipment assembly experience may also be considered.

Able and willing to work rotating shifts.

Willing to work in Pasir Gudang, Johor.
