Job summary

Kanry Search in Malaysia seeks an Assembly Technician (Cleanroom - Semiconductor) to assemble mechanical, electrical and electro‑mechanical components in a controlled cleanroom environment. You will follow BOMs and schematics, perform wiring, use hand tools, and maintain quality records.

The role requires SPM/SVM or diploma/degree in engineering and hands-on experience in manufacturing. Rotating shifts (Morning/Afternoon/Night) apply with a 1-year contract and potential early conversion to

Qualifications

• SPM/SVM or Diploma/Degree in engineering.
• Hands-on experience in manufacturing, assembly, or electrical work.
• Able to work in a cleanroom and follow ESD/PPE rules.

Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical, electrical and electro‑mechanical components for semiconductor and industrial equipment.
• Read and follow BOM, engineering drawings, electrical diagrams and schematics.
• Perform electrical wiring and assembly of electrical boards and power boards.
• Use hand tools, torque tools and basic measuring equipment.
• Inspect components/products, identify defects and report any issues to supervisor.
• Support assembly, inspection, labeling, kitting and packaging activities.
• Follow work instructions, safety procedures, cleanroom, ESD and PPE requirements.

JOB SCOPE

• Assemble mechanical, electrical and electro-mechanical components for semiconductor and industrial equipment.

• Support assembly, inspection, labelling, kitting and packaging activities.

• Maintain accurate production records and ensure quality and safety standards are followed.

REQUIREMENTS

• SPM, SVM, Diploma/Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic or Mechatronics Engineering.
• Candidates with relevant hands-on manufacturing, assembly or electrical experience are encouraged to apply.
• Comfortable working in a cleanroom environment and following ESD/PPE requirements.
