Job summary

AGENSI PEKERJAAN LINKTRIX CONSULTANTS SDN. BHD. in Malaysia seeks a Technician to support equipment setup, troubleshooting, maintenance, calibration, and process improvement on advanced semiconductor technology.

You will set up, calibrate, and maintain tools, inspect parts with scopes and micrometers, uphold 5S, and participate in engineering projects, audits, and cross-area support, including overtime when required.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechatronics, Mechanical, Electronics or relevant field.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Ability to work in teams and collaborate across functions.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive support for materials, setup changes, and area 5S and cleanliness.
• Attend changeovers, conversions, optimizations, part changes, and machine downtime events.
• Set up, calibrate, and maintain tools.
• Perform part inspection and measurement with scopes, micrometers, calipers.
• Maintain and apply 5S practices.
• Provide updates on anomalies to the team and supervisor timely.
• Involve in Engineering projects, programs or events, internal audits and machine shop support.
• Provide cross-area/process support when required.
• Work during off days and overtime when required.

Job Requirement

Diploma in Mechatronics, Mechanical, Electronics or any relevant fields

Self-driven with ability to identify and resolve issues to improve equipment performance

Good troubleshooting skills on electrical/mechanical systems

Excellent organizational, teaming and troubleshooting skills

Demonstrated strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem solving skills

Ability to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functions
